MONROE — The Flowery Branch girls golf team shot its way to state on Wednesday at Monroe Country Club.
The Lady Falcons fired a team score of 327 at the Area Championships, finishing as runner-up and qualifying for the state tournament in the process.
Emily Bergdoll led the Branch with a team-low 105; Lea Bergdoll followed with a 109; Leah Eubanks fired a 113; and Savannah Keifer shot a 115.
The Lady Falcons will compete in the Class 5A state championship tournament May 21-22 at Braelinn Golf Club in Peachtree City.
