HELEN — The Gainesville girls golf team finished just behind Union County and just ahead of White County in a tri-match on Thursday at Innsbruck Golf Resort in Helen.
The Lady Red Elephants carded a 139, trailing Union's 135 and ahead of White's 140.
Morgan Nichol paced Gainesville with a team-low round of 44. Vivian Robinson carded a 47, while Catie Cook shot 48 and Ashlyn Burch shot 50.
