ATLANTA (AP) — Police say an Atlanta officer and a woman were injured in a crash between their vehicles.
News outlets report that an officer responding to a call early Thursday morning in southwest Atlanta crashed into an SUV. Capt. Andrew Senzer says the driver of the SUV sustained serious injuries, and the officer complained about injuries to her knees.
Police have not disclosed who was at fault for the crash, and it's unclear if anyone will be charged.
The impact totaled the cars and knocked down a light pole.
The Georgia State Patrol will investigate the crash.
Both women have been taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment.
