A section of Broad Street in Downtown Gainesville will close on Wednesday, officials announced.
From 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. a stretch of Broad Street between E.E. Butler Parkway and Henry Ward Way will be closed, according to an announcement from city officials issued Monday morning.
Access will still be allowed to the nearby parking deck, as well as the Weaver Law Office, from Broad Street, but access will not be allowed to Henry Ward Way.
Drivers looking to cut between E.E. Butler and Jesse Jewell Parkway will not be able to do so.
