The roundabout at the intersection of Sardis Road and Ledan Extension in Hall County is now operational, officials announced Wednesday.
Construction isn't totally finished, however, as crews will start work on the inner portion of the roundabout, said Hall County Engineer Kevin McInturff in a statement.
“We do expect to close the roundabout for two Saturdays sometime in the next month to complete that curbing work,” McInturff said.
“That will be done on the weekend so as not to disrupt school traffic.”
The roundabout is part of a larger project that will eventually connect Thompson Bridge Road and Dawsonville Highway.
