HCSS Students able to keep up on line

Kids may have not been able to go the school last week in Hall County, but that does not mean their studies are totally in the dark.

If the students were fortunate enough to have internet access, they had access to the School at Home System.

Hall County Schools Assistant Superintendent Kevin Bales tells me the system allows them access to assignments, but he understands many were still without.

"We still have families out there that have been tremendously effected by the weather," Bails said. "Lots of communities out there effected by power outages and loss of internet access. We want people to know if you are not able to access School From Home, there is still going to be a lot of flexibililty and make up time given."

Bales says there will be about a five-day period for kids to catch up.
