MT. AIRY — The Town of Mt. Airy has issued a Boil Water Advisory for many of its water system customers.
The advisory, issued midday Wednesday, affects customers on Blair Road, Demorest-Mt. Airy Highway, Ga. 197, Ivy Hills Subdivision, Judy Lane, Mimosa Drive, Mutts Drive and Refuge Terrace.
Additionally, any address higher than 1231 Dicks Hill Parkway is affected by the Boil Water Advisory.
Town officials say water customers affected should bring all water for consumption and food preparation to a rolling boil for three minutes until further notice.
