The Georgia Department of Transportation is closing a single lane of US 129/SR 11 in Jackson County starting Tuesday as crews relocate utility lines in the area.
The northbound lane of the road between Talmo Trail Road and Sosbee Road will be closed from Tuesday to Thursday while worker each day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The closure is part of the State Route 11/US 129 widening project.
