Authorities identify the person killed late Tuesday morning in an accident involving a motorcycle in Lumpkin County as a Florida man.
The Georgia State Patrol said Simon Bruce Fraser, 53, of Venice, Fla. was the victim in an email statement Wednesday morning.
Troopers were called to the accident around 10:37 a.m. on Georgia 11/Highway 129 at mile marker 7 in the vicinity of DeSoto Falls.
The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved, according to an email from the state patrol post in Cumming.
