Tracy Williamson, Information Technology Director for the City of Sugar Hill for the past 13 years, has been named IT director for Habersham County.

Habersham County Manager Phil Sutton made the announcement Thursday in a written statement.

"Tracy comes to us with recommendations from her previous employer and has a reputation for personal and professional integrity, and has an excellent background in a wide range of information technology skills including network systems deployment and maintenance including IT infrastructure, wireless communications, personal computer systems, and local networks in a mobile environment. We are confident she will bring new direction and excitement to our IT department."

Sugar Hill is the fourth largest city in Gwinnett County, has a population of 20,000 and is a full-service municipality, Sutton said.
