Tim Roszell outran the field and the cold Sunday afternoon, as he dominated the Super Late Model feature to score the victory in the season opening Ice Bowl at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL.<br />
<br />
Roszell was the man to beat all weekend. He led qualifying in his group, and then won his qualifying heat. After rolling off the feature from the pole, the Coldwater, AL driver jumped out to the early lead, and held the top spot for all 50 laps en route to the win.<br />
<br />
Roszell went largely unchallenged through the event, with 2014 event winner William Thomas trailing in second.<br />
<br />
The fight for third was a little more spirited. Coming to the checkered flag, Cleveland, TN's Riley Hickman charged past Dawsonville, GA's Donald McIntosh in turn three. When McIntosh tried to counter attack, Hickman's mount broke loose, making contact with Billy Ogle, Jr., sending both into a spin. That opened the door for Hickman to grab third. McIntosh was able to recover for fourth, with Ogle, Jr. crashing at the start-finish line, finishing fifth.<br />
<br />
Chatsworth, GA's Aaron Ridley, David Brannon, Lavon Sparks, Luke Hoffner and Jason Welshan rounded out the top ten.<br />
<br />
In other action, Woodstock, GA's Scottie Pritchett outdistanced Adam Cummings to pick up the Limited Late Model victory. Dustin Stewart finished in third, with Andy Picklesimer in fourth and Chris Beck in fifth.<br />
<br />
In the Crate Late Model feature, Jason Welshan held off Ray Cook for the win. Chase Edge finished third, with Justin McRee in fourth and Douglasville, GA's Michael Page in fifth.<br />
<br />
Chris Yarbrough topped the field to score the Bomber feature win. Lindale, GA's Kirk Atkins came home in second, with Woodstock, GA's Kenny Taylor in third, Rock Ogle in fourth and Mike Franklin in fifth.<br />
<br />
Allen Carter scored the win in the Street Stock feature, with Richard Stephens, John Smartt, Tyler Hurst and Michael Williams rounding out the top five.<br />
<br />
In Mini Stock action, Bo Minor crossed under the checkered flag first for the feature victory. Michael Courtney finished second, with Austin Baxley third, Dustin Halbrooks fourth and J.J. Garrett in fifth.<br />
<br />
Jonathan Merritt picked up the Hot Shots feature victory, with Blake Swann in second, Kyle Smith in third, Garrett Lloyd in fourth and Gary Watson in fifth.<br />
