CLEVELAND - No serious injuries were reported when a White County Schools special needs bus was involved in a minor two-vehicle accident Monday afternoon. The accident occurred around 3:30 p.m. on Brookwood Village Lane south of Cleveland.
Dr Jeff Wilson, White County superintendent of schools, said it was just a fender-bender.
"We had a car that backed into the bus as the bus was pulling off from a stop," Wilsonn said.
There were three students on the bus; two students and the bus driver had no complaints.
The student with a complaint, who is confined to a wheelchair, was transported by a White County EMS ambulance to Northeast Georgia Medical Center to be checked out.
