ATLANTA -- Joe Johnson has made his fifth straight NBA All-Star team and will be joined by Atlanta Hawks teammate Al Horford in the Feb. 20 game.
Each Atlanta player was named an Eastern Conference reserve on Thursday night.
Johnson is the first Atlanta player since Dominique Wilkins to be named an All-Star in five straight years. Wilkins made nine straight teams from 1986-94.
Johnson has return after missing nine games with an elbow injury to average 20.6 points and 5.5 assists this season.
Horford, in his fourth season, made his second straight All-Star team. He is averaging 16.1 points and ranks seventh in the league with 9.9 rebounds per game. He is also seventh with 24 double-doubles.
