ALTO - The name of the man killed Tuesday morning in a traffic accident on Highway 365 in Habersham County has been released.
The Georgia State Patrol said 66-year-old Larry Roper of Alto was driving on Crane Mill Road when he pulled into the path of 50-year-old John Guth of Demorest. The state patrol said Roper died at the scene.
Guth only had a complaint of injury. The crash happened around 6:25 a.m. and tied up morning rush hour traffic for nearly two hours.
