Gas prices across Northeast Georgia and statewide are holding steady from the past several days, despite concerns of production demand and costs worldwide.

AAA of Georgia's weekly update on Georgia gas prices shows average stateside costs remain at last week's average rage of $3.02 per gallon for unleaded regular gasoline. This average is five cents more than one month ago, but 3 cents below the average from the same time last year, according to AAA's Montrae Waiters.

Waiters says in her weekly updated that, "Concerns regarding fluctuating crude oil prices, heightened tensions in the Middle East, and low demand have slowed prices at the pump."

The lowest average price for unleaded regular gasoline in Northeast Georgia can be found in Stephens County as of this morning, at $2.91 per gallon, as the highest average price is in Dawson and White Counties, as $3.07 per gallon.  Hall County commuters are seeing an average price of $2.99 per gallon.
