Three people were transported to the hospital after a three-vehicle wreck Tuesday morning on Queen City Parkway in Gainesville.
Lt. Kevin Holbrook with the Gainesville Police Department said the wreck happened at about 11 a.m. at the road's intersection with West Ridge Road.
A vehicle reportedly failed to yield and turned in front of another vehicle at the intersection, leading to a collision.
Three people were taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville. Holbrook said the extent of their injuries was unknown.
"It is too early to determine what if any charges will be filed," Holbrook said. "I would expect at a minimum a citation for failure to yield."
The site of the accident has since been cleared.
