The University of North Georgia softball team captured the 2023 NCAA D2 National Championship on Wednesday.
The Nighthawks knocked off Grand Valley State, 3-0, to win the program's second national title at UT-Chattnooga's Frost Stadium.
UNG softball coach Mike Davenport joined Mitch Clarke on Newsroom Thursday to discuss the win.
