We all knew going into what is billed as the "Greatest Weekend In Motorsports" that it would be a long one.  But we didn't know it was going to be THAT long.

While everything went off without a hitch for the 107th Indianapolis 500 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday, the same cannot be said for the NASCAR race weekend at Charlote.  First the Xfinity Series race was pushed to Monday by rain.  They the Coca-Cola 600 on Sunday suffered the same fate.  And then both races were plagued by rain on Monday, with the Xfinity race not being finished until after the Cup Series race.

And on top of all the great racing and stories was - you guessed it - some controversy and a heavy penalty for one of the biggest names in the sport.

And our Hard Left Turn crew - with an assit from Joe VanHoose - will break it all down for you on this week's show.

Plus, we'll get you ready for this weekend's NASCAR action.

WDUN will carry live MRN Radio coverage of the NASCAR race weekend beginnnig with Saturday's NASCAR Xfinity Series Pacific Office Automation 147 from Portland International Raceway at 4 pm on 102.9 FM, AM 550 and streaming live on AccessWDUN.  Coverage continues on Sunday with the NASCAR Cup Series Enjoy Illinois 300 from World Wide Technology Raceway beginning at 2:30 pm on 102.9 FM, AM 550 and streaming live on AccessWDUN.
