The North Georgia Fellowship of Christian Athletes recently won the Business Beautification Award of Excellence for work done to improve their location in Downtown Gainesville.

The award is presented by the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce as part of a 29-year tradition, according to information provided by the Chamber. The award stands to help promote attractive and well-maintained areas by recognizing those businesses that put forth effort into their storefronts and property.

The 2023 winner of the award is the North Georgia Fellowship of Christian Athletes, whose newly opened offices are located at 300 Spring Street in Downtown Gainesville.

“North GA FCA offices are housed in a unique, beautifully renovated building just off the Gainesville Downtown Square,” Robin Halstead with the Chamber said. “The property, owned by Casey and Joshua Ryals, was previously vacant for nearly 15 years. The Ryals Brothers added a second story that includes a deck with great views of Downtown Gainesville and a conference room that is available to various groups in the community.”

The Ryals also reportedly added custom glass and steel walls designed for the interior to show the exposed brick.

A before and after picture of the property can be viewed in the gallery at the top of this page.
