The Hall County Sheriff’s Office earlier this week arrested a Gainesville man on charges pertaining to a wide range of drugs, including psilocybin, cocaine and marijuana.

The undercover investigation was reportedly conducted by the HCSO Special Investigations Unit and culminated Monday in a search of an apartment in the 1000 block of Rainey Street, according to officials with the sheriff’s office.

During the search, investigations found and confiscated approximately 30 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, nine psilocybin-infused chocolate bars, seven grams of cocaine, 600 grams of marijuana, 23 THC oil vapes and four one-ounce containers of THC oil resin.

Authorities searching the apartment also reportedly discovered packaging materials and scales in the apartment.

SIU obtained arrest warrants for Samuel Villa, 26, of Gainesville, on six felony charges:

Investigators believe the approximate street value of the drugs is $4,000.

Villa was booked in the Hall County Jail Wednesday. He remains incarcerated without bond as of the last report.

The case is still under investigation by the SIU.
