No injuries were reported after a fire broke out Monday evening at Sunrise Cove Marina in southern Hall County.
Hall County Fire Rescue said three boats were involved in the fire, which was reported at 6:10 p.m., but that an offensive attack prevented the fire from spreading to any additional boats.
The fires had been extinguished by 7:43 p.m., but authorities opted to tow all three damaged boats to shore in order to ensure they posed no further threat to the surrounding area.
The Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the fire.
