Boys basketball: Buzzer beater sends Commerce to 2nd round; Habersham falls to Kell

Jackson Morris hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to help lift the Commerce boys past Fulton Leadership in the first round of the Class A-Public state tournament on the road Tuesday night. 

Morris finished with a game-high 25 points. 

The Tigers moved into the second round of the tournament for the first time since 2010. 

They'll play the winner of Turner County-Dublin this weekend -- a day and time to be announced.

HABERSHAM CENTRAL 66

The Raiders would love to have a fourth-quarter do-over. 

Kell exploded past the Raiders in the fourth quarter to take the win and eliminate Habersham Central from the Class 6A playoffs on Tuesday. 

Bryce Pittman and Osmar Garcia-Araujo led the Raiders with 17 points each. Malachi Dooley scored 13, Mekhi Mawdesley had 13 and
