GAINESVILLE — The Gainesville girls soccer team opened its 2021 season with a 4-0 victory over Winder-Barrow at City Park Stadium on Tuesday.
Amayia Lukie had two goals and an assist and Margaret Embry and Haley Sorrells each had one goal for the Lady Red Elephants (1-0). Jaelyn Riveria and Araceli Bonilla each had assists for Gainesville.
Marlyn Blanco had the shutout in goal for the Lady Red Elephants.
Gainesville will be back in action playing host to Meadowcreek Friday.
