A Flowery Branch business that recycles bakery and other food products caught fire early Wednesday morning, according to a report from Hall County Fire Services.

Division Chief Christie Grice said crews were called to ReConserve, Inc. on Radford Road around 4:30 a.m.

"The first arriving crews made an interior attack. The fire quickly spread to the exterior of the building," Grice said in an email statement.

Three employees who were working in the facility managed to evacuate with no injuries.

Grice said investigators determined the fire started inside a horizontal cylinder used in the manufacture of chicken feed.

"The fire extended into the piping system," Grice said. "Crews cut access points into the pipes to gain access to the fire."

The fire was extinguished around 8:20 a.m.

The Hall County Fire Marshal will continue to investigate to determine why the fire started.
