Agents with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are investigating an officer-involved shooting in the North Georgia mountains.
According to a brief statement from the GBI, the incident happened in McCaysville in Fannin County.
No other information has been released.
The shooting marks the 54th officer-involved shooting in Georgia this year.
