The Jesse Cronic Bridge over I-85 in Jackson County will close June 17 for about six months.
"As part of the I-85 Widening Project, Georgia Department of Transportation construction partners will close the Liberty Church Road/Jesse Cronic Road Bridge over I-85 to perform bridge demolition and replacement," according to a state DOT news release.
Traffic will be rerouted from Liberty Church Road/Jesse Cronic Road to Braselton Parkway and Georgia 53.
