Two large rezoning requests that were previously tabled are set to be voted on by Hall County commissioners Wednesday.

A request to allow for a proposed industrial development on more than 200 acres on Highway 365 near the Habersham County line has been tabled several times since it was first approved by the county planning commission in 2018. The most recent tabling came at the commission's last voting session on January 25.

At that meeting, District Four Commissioner Jeff Stowe suggested that the February 13 hearing be the last chance for Falcon Design Consultants to have their request voted on. That suggestion was agreed to by the other commissioners and added as part of the motion to table the request.

A rezoning to allow for a nearly-200 lot subdivision on Union Church Road in South Hall county was also tabled at the January 25 meeting, but is set to be voted on Wednesday. Pulte Homes is looking to rezone more than 58 acres on Union Church Road near Highway 211 to allow for the development.

Also on Wednesday's agenda is a rezoning that would allow for a 23-lot neighborhood on Yellow Creek Road. The Hall County Commission meets at 6:00 p.m. at the county government center on Browns Bridge Road in Gainesville.
