Peach State Bank & Trust has named Tony Herdener to its Community Development Board.
Prior to his retirement in 2018, Herdener served as the Chief Financial Officer of Northeast Georgia Health System.
He previously served as CFO of Saint Joseph Health System of Atlanta and in financial management positions with health systems in Pennsylvania and Washington.
Herdener is an active member of the Gainesville Rotary Club and served as President in 2013-2014. He is a member of the Riverside Military Academy Board of Trustees, chairing its finance committee. He also has volunteered with other non-profits including United Way Budget & Allocation Committee, Leadership Hall County, Lakeview Academy Finance Committee Chair, and Chairman of Elachee Nature Center Board and Audit Committee Chair. He is a lecturer for St. Michael Catholic Church, where he also serves on the Finance Committee.
