ELBERTON – Elbert County’s Martin Luther King Jr. United Celebration, the annual celebration of the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. takes place each year on the weekend preceding the legal holiday observances.

One of the longest-running Martin Luther King Jr. Day observances in Northeast Georgia, Elberton’s event stretches over the entire weekend.
