The Junior League of Gainesville-Hall County will be hosting its 53rd Annual Thrift Sale Oct. 6 at the Gainesville Civic Center.
"This event is our largest community event of the year, where we are able to give families the opportunity to purchase donated household items at a discounted rate," according to a press release. "This event has been able to help out thousands in our community over the years..."
The money raised at the sale helps support a number of community improvement projects and organizations, according to the League.
