Navy veteran Anita Tucker is realizing the American dream of business ownership through JDog Junk Removal & Hauling, an American-owned, Veteran-operated junk removal franchise that's been serving the greater Gainesville area since August 2017.

In the past year, Anita has provided employment opportunities to other local Veterans and military family and has used JDog as a platform to give back to local residents and businesses, especially those in need. Some of the charitable organizations that she contributes to on a regular basis include St.  Vincent de Paul of Georgia, which provides services and programs to Georgian families in tough situations, Habitat for Humanity, and No Longer Bound, a recovery program created by a Vietnam War Veteran.

With a true passion for supporting her local community, Anita jumped on the opportunity to expand her footprint and run JDog Junk Removal & Hauling Lawrenceville. She's now serving a territory of half a million people--more than double her service area from this time last year. Anita has also doubled her workforce to handle the expansion and is in the process of hiring more local Veteran employees.
