UPDATE: Teen reported missing in Lumpkin County following Rainbow Family Gathering located safe

UPDATE: The Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office announced just before noon Tuesday that William Johnson, 18 has been located "alive and well" in Ridgeville, South Carolina.

ORIGINAL STORY: The Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) is looking for a teenager who was last seen at the Rainbow Family Gathering in the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest. 

In a social media post, Sheriff Stacy Jarrard said investigators got a report that William Johnson, 18, went missing after attending the event. He is described as white, 6-feet tall with brown hair and brown eyes. 

Johnson's cell phone was found in the trash in the part of the forest where the Rainbow Family Gathering took place, according to a flyer issued by LCSO. 

The Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office shared this photo of the missing teen on its Facebook page.
