FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - Ross Bailes took the lead on an early restart, and drove away to score the win in Saturday night’s ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series feature at North Carolina’s Fayetteville Motor Speedway.
Bailes took home the $5,000 winner’s payday to Clover, South Carolina after recording his first series win of the season.
After the battle raged for the lead over the opening laps of the feature, Bailes took the lead from Kyle Hardy on an early restart. From there, Bailes led unchallenged the rest of the way en route to his third career series victory.
The Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region made its first appearance to Fayetteville Motor Speedway located in Fayetteville, North Carolina Saturday June 9th for a 40 lap event worth $5,000.
Kyle Hardy finished in second, followed by Dustin Mitchell in third, Zack Mitchell in fourth and Justin Williams in fifth.
Dennis Franklin, Tyler Millwood, Joey Coulter, Russell Erwin and Donald Bradsher rounded out the top ten.
