A two-vehicle collision in Forsyth County over the weekend left one man dead and two other people injured.

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office said in a press statement the fatal accident happened Sunday morning around 7:25 on Keith Bridge road just east of Leland Drive.

A vehicle being driven by a 16-year-old from Cumming crossed the center line and hit another vehicle. A passenger in the second vehicle, 59-year-old Manuel Oblea-Suarez of Gainesville, was killed.

The teen driver sustained non-life threatening injuries as did 28-year-old Jose M. Flores of Gainesville, the driver of the other vehicle, according to investigators.

Authorities are not releasing the name of the 16-year-old because of his age, but they said charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Traffic Specialist Unit is in charge of the investigation.
