Three Gwinnett teens charged in alleged sexual assault of girl with special needs

Three Gwinnett County teens have been charged with the alleged sexual assault of a teen girl with special needs. 
 
According to a report in the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Duluth High School student Chris Shon Da Vell Carter, 18, is charged - along with two younger teens -for allegedly gang-raping the girl at a birthday party on March 3. 
 
The incident is said to have taken place at River Plantation Apartments in Duluth. 
 
Carter was taken into custody on April 13 after the girl's parents went to police on April 9 with the allegations.  Carter also was charged with another sexual assault that allegedly happened 10 days after the alleged incident at the birthday party.
 
Carter is being held in the Gwinnett County Jail.

The other two suspects are ages 14 and 15, according to the newspaper report. The two younger suspects are charged as adults, but police have not released their names.
