Five suspects are facing charges for a pair of burglaries, and subsequent police chase, that spanned Dawson and Forsyth counties.

At 2:50 Thursday morning, the five suspects (listed at the bottom of this article) stole a car in Atlanta, drove it Dawson County and burglarized a gas station, stealing cash and lottery tickets, according to Cpl. Doug Rainwater with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.

Law enforcement in Dawson County issued a lookout for the vehicle, but before anyone spotted it, the men burglarized another convenience store in Forsyth County.

"Once the deputies arrived at the (Forsyth County) Chevron station, they saw that someone had attempted to break the front glass. At the same time, the Cumming Police Department ... did in fact see the (suspects' vehicle)" on Ga. 400, said Rainwater.

The men refused to stop, and a police chase ensued down Ga. 400, onto I-285 westbound.

Law enforcement ultimately performed a PIT maneuver to spin the car out, according to Rainwater. Two of the suspects, as of Thursday afternoon, had not been booked into the Forsyth County Jail. They were recovering at area hospitals from injuries sustained while running away from officers.

Arrested:
