Tennis: Branch boys and girls net lopsided wins over Winder-Barrow

FLOWERY BRANCH — The Flowery Branch girls dropped just one game in taking a 5-0 victory over Winder-Barrow Tuesday.

Annabelle Thomas won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles while Olivia Correa and Olivia Nace both took 6-0, 6-0 wns in the other two singles.

The doubles teams of Brenna Martin and Alyssa McSpadden and Alicia Quast and Kendalle Quast also took 6-0, 6-0 wins for the Lady Falcons (3-0).

The Falcons won all five matches in straight sets on Tuesday over the Bulldoggs.

Drayton Matus won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, while Nathan Holley won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles. Jack Thomas also won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.

In doubles play, the No. 1 team of John Hollis and Brady McVey won 6-3, 6-3, and the No. 2 team of Nathan Shed and Dominick Garcia prevailed 6-1, 6-0.
