Northeast Ga. Medical Center's Chief of Emergency Medicine recognized by state group

Mohak Davé, MD, chief of Emergency Medicine for Northeast Georgia Medical Center is the recipient of this year's Emergency Department Director of the Year Award from the Georgia College of Emergency Physicians.

“This well-deserved recognition illustrates Dr. Davé’s commitment to bettering Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) and the entire emergency medicine community,” said Carol Burrell, president and CEO of NGHS. “Not only does he guide our Emergency Services across all three hospital campuses, but he also goes above and beyond the call of duty by serving on the NGHS Board and as a member of the Quality and Performance Committee.”

“This award is a reflection of the amazing dedication and exceptional care provide by our entire team – from physicians and nurses to technologists and others,” said Dr. Davé. “They are the ones working daily to ensure we deliver the highest quality emergency services to our northeast Georgia community.”
