Good News at Noon will celebrate this year's #Giving Tuesday by asking for donations to its building campaign fundraiser.
#GivingTuesday, Nov. 27 this year, is a global day of giving that encourages philanthropy and generosity worldwide, following on the heels of two traditional after-Thanksgiving shopping days - Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
The 2018 Good News Building Campaign involves a complete makeover of the Gainesville shelter such as refurbishing sleeping areas, replacing bathroom furnishings and expanding the front lobby area with a clerical room and intake window. Each person who donates a minimum of $10 will enter their name into a raffle for a large gift basket.
