Dr. Buddy Langston, a retired Gainesville physician, was recently recognized by the Georgia Hospital Association with one of its "Physician Hero" awards.
Dr. Langston is a retired pediatrician who moved to Gainesville in 1966 and has a long history of service to the community.
In 2017, he was named a Philanthropy Award winner by the North Georiga Community Foundation.
