Auburn city leaders finalized their comprehensive plan and now move forward with bringing those ideas into reality.
Barrow County school officials, business owners, residents, and potential developers met with city council to hear the results of a real estate market review and analysis conducted by Schmitt and Associates, according to the AJC.
The plan for the downtown area would ultimately include businesses, homes, and greenspace connected by sidewalks as well as a pedestrian tunnel crossing the railroad tracks to the new municipal complex.
