A truck carrying a load of beer has overturned on I-985 northbound just south of the Oakwood exit.
Hall County dispatchers confirmed the accident occurred just after the morning rush hour. There is no word on how long clean-up will take.
While the accident is not blocking any lanes of traffic, commuters in the area report extensive back-up on the highway.
The Hall County Sheriff's Office said the Georgia Department of Transportation will handle at least part of the investigation.
