The Humane Society of Northeast Georgia has announced that Summer Andersen, DVM, will be joining its staff as an Associate Veterinarian in March.

“With the growth of our clinical services over the past year, we are thrilled to add Dr. Andersen to our team as the next step in continuing to meet the needs of the community,” says Jaime Feroli, DVM, HSNEGA’s Medical Director.

As Associate Veterinarian, Dr. Andersen will oversee HSNEGA’s affordable pet wellness clinic which offers low-cost vaccines and other basic services to pet owners. She also will work closely with Dr. Feroli to manage the veterinary care of adoptable animals including directing staff training, setting policies and protocolsfor care, and performing surgery in HSNEGA’s high-volume spay/neuter center.
