Brenau University accounting students are once again offering to help with tax return preparation at the Gainesville-Hall Community Service Center.
According to information from the city of Gainesville, the students will prepare and e-file the returns at no charge for households that earn $54,000 a year or less.
The free service will be available on Fridays from noon to 6 p.m., beginning Jan. 26. The center will be closed on Feb. 9 and March 2, so the service will not be available on those dates.
Appointments are not needed, but clients will be served on a first come-first served basis.
The Gainesville-Hall Community Service Center is located at 430 Prior St. SE in Gainesville.
