A Gainesville man is charged with kidnapping following a Wednesday incident that culminated on West Ridge Road.
Hall County Sheriff's Lt. Scott Ware said Justin Eugene Ty-Sutton, 18, is accused of forcing a man to go to a residence on West Ridge near Stallworth Street.
Ty-Sutton allegedly attempted to force the victim retrieve a car title and then pawn it. Investigators obtained a warrant and arrested Ty-Sutton on the day of the alleged crime.
He's being held in the Hall County Jail on $27,700 bond. Ware said Ty-Sutton's committal hearing is scheduled on January 25
The case remains under investigation.
