Habitat for Humanity of Hall County Executive Director steps down

Posted 1:34PM on Wednesday 16th August 2017 ( 6 years ago )

The executive director of Habitat for Humanity of Hall County has resigned from the position and transitioned to the organization's board of directors and chairman of the construction oversight committee.

Tim Williams took a position as Corporate Compliance and Safety Director with America’s Home Place, a Gainesville-based company.

“We are excited to have Tim on board. His proven leadership, wealth of knowledge and experience will serve us well,” states Keith Brown, Vice President of Construction for America’s Home Place.

A press release announcing Williams' change in roles said the non-profit organization experienced tremendous growth for home production, developed the first subdivision and doubled the number of families served per year. Williams has worked in the construction industry for nearly 30 years.

“Without Tim’s dedication, leadership and extensive knowledge of the building industry, Habitat would not be where it is today. Our mission and fiscal soundness has never been stronger” said Thom Price, Chairman of The Board.

Meanwhile, the Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors is seeking a new Executive Director and hopes to name one by early fall. Potential candidates can reach out with questions or inquiries by email.
