United Community Bank, Hall County, recently hosted the 7th Annual United for A Cure Golf Tournament benefiting Relay for Life Hall County. The Hall County office has supported Relay For Life since 2006 and has raised more than $470,000 dollars.  This year $26,000 was raised.

“United Community Bank was once again honored to support Relay For Life,” said Sam Hulsey, Vice President, United Community Bank, Hall County. “We are thankful for opportunities like this that show our commitment to the community by raising money that provides important services to cancer patients.”

In addition to the $26,000 raised by the golf tournament, the Hall County United Community Bank branches have raised another $21,000 for Relay for Life.  These monies help support Hall County cancer patients with financial assistance plus other patient services.

Twenty-five teams participated in the tournament, including several United employees that either played or volunteered at the tournament.
