CLARKESVILLE — Voters in Clarkesville today will make their choice of who will represent them on the city council.

Terry Gladden and Jerry Hamilton are seeking the seat left vacant by the resignation of Casey Ramsey, who relocated out of the city.

Absentee and early voting began May 30 and continued through June 16 in the Habersham County Elections and Voter Registration Office.

During that time, 34 people cast in-person ballots, while 41 absentee ballots were mailed out for the race, according to elections officials.

Voting continues until 7 p.m. at the Ruby Fulbright Aquatic Center in Clarkesville.
