The Hall County School District has just been recognized nationally for its digital citizenship program.

The Common Sense Education Award recognizes the district's efforts in teaching digital citizenship, part of a national nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of kids and families by providing the information and education needed to thrive in a world of media and technology.

"Our schools are among the more than 100,000 schools across the country that use Common Sense Education's groundbreaking education resources," according to a school district news release.  "As a result, our students are better equipped to navigate the digital world and use devices for learning."
