Shriners from across Georgia came to White County for the Helen Summer Ceremonial, sponsored by the Tri-County Shrine Club of Hoschton, culminating in a parade through downtown Helen on Saturday.

With their trademark little cars, red convertibles and colorful fezzes, the Shriners made their way along the parade route, entertaining, posing for pictures with children and collecting money for the 22 Shriners Hospitals for Children, which are dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing pediatric specialty care, innovative research, and teaching programs for medical professionals. All care and services are provided regardless of the families' ability to pay.
